Nikita Živanović
Artist
Nikita Živanović was born in 1995 in Belgrade. She completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 2024 in the class of Prof. Radoš Antonijević. Currently works as a professor at Quanzhou Arts and Crafts Vocational College, Dehua, China. She was a participant at the Stone Symposium in Oronsk, Poland. She spent one semester in China on an exchange program with the Academy of Fine Arts in Xi'an. She is the winner of the "Garden of Good Hope" award as well as the FLU award for stone sculpture. At the exhibition "Sculptors of Serbia" in 2020, she received praise for the works "Gone" and "Spirit". She has been a scholarship recipient of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development for many years, and she was also a scholarship recipient of the Fund for Young Talents of the Republic of Serbia for two years.
In her work so far, she has mostly dealt with environmental problems. She relies on traditional sculpting media, like stone and terracotta sculptures, as well as ambiental and other installations, narration, digital works, etc.
